Homemade Cranberry Sauce
Another year has flown by all in the blink of an eye. I had no idea it would fly by so fast and I wonder in bewilderment how we are already at Thanksgiving again. Another year of goals and promises and do better's now coming to an end only to begin again. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. A time of reflection and a time a to pause. It's a time to appreciate what we have and be thankful for what we had that may no longer be with us. I always look back at the year before leading up to Thanksgiving in amazement. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and a time to set goals for what we want moving forward. It's a time of deep thankfulness and we must learn to give ourselves some extra grace during this time. We are doing the best we can and we must remind ourselves of that.
This is a fun, easy recipe I have for you guys just in time for Thanksgiving tomorrow. My fresh, homemade cranberry sauce is easy to make and only needs a few simple ingredients. Say goodbye to canned cranberry sauce and make this at all of your Holiday get-togethers this season! This homemade cranberry sauce will keep in the fridge in a glass air-tight container for up to one week. Make it right before you pull the turkey out of the oven and this is sure to be a crowd pleaser! I've only used 1-cup of coconut sugar in this recipe, but feel free to add more if you like your cranberry sauce sweeter.
The best part about this recipe is it's not made with refined sugar so there won't be an awful sugar crash later. You can then take your Thanksgiving leftovers and make yummy sandwiches with this cranberry as it's delicious on bread, on pancakes and even yummy stand along on turkey slices.
I hope you guys enjoy this easy holiday staple as much as I do and I hope it's a recipe staple at your dinner table for years to come!
