Bring the barista to your home and learn how to make this easy Flat White coffee drink right in the comfort of your own home. All you’ll need is espresso and cream and you will be on your way to a delicious espresso drink that you can make every morning. Save money and time by being your own barista!
I have been drinking coffee since before highschool. Or at least it feels that way. My dad and I have had a long-standing tradition where we explore all of the various coffee shops in our town and any town that we visit. It’s a fun tradition that brings us closer together and the bonus is all of the coffee! I also love making coffee at home and finding new ways to make coffeehouse drinks right in the comfort of my own kitchen. One of my favorite drinks to make is called a Flat White. All you need for this easy espresso drink is a shot of espresso and foam. Reddi-wip® just came out with their barista line and it’s perfect to make an easy Flat White right at home. Reddi-wip came out with the Reddi-wip® Barista Sweet Foam Coffee Topper and also came out with a creamer for all of you creamer fans out there and it’s called the Reddi-wip® Barista Nitro Coffee Creamer.
Both of these products are wonderful for bringing barista-quality at a fraction of the cost right into your own home! The sweet foam is wonderful for Flat White’s because you are able to top as much of your Flat White with the foam as you want and it will create this delicious smooth layer of frothy foam on top of your coffee. You’ll get a creamy taste with each sip. The sweet foam is made with real ingredients; Grade A cream, and nonfat milk that’s lightly sweetened. You can add as much or as little of the foam as you want as it’s an easy, one-step process. The other bonus is the sweet foam is made with no artificial flavors or colors and there are no preservatives.
The Reddi-wip Barista Nitro Coffee Creamer is Shane’s favorite, where I love the foam. The nitro creamer is new at Walmart and levels up your coffee with layers of cream with a vanilla flavor and a hint of sweetness. The nitro coffee creamer brings the barista home for an affordable price. The nitro coffee creamer is also made from Grade A nonfat milk and cream and there are no preservatives or artificial flavors or colors.
I picked up both products at my local Walmart in the creamer section. Both of the Reddi-wip products can be found in the creamer section, not the whip cream section. I love that these products are super affordable and save me a trip to my local coffee shop. It’s easy making Flat Whites right home! Now, let’s get into the recipe details. All you’ll for this easy Flat White recipe is an espresso machine and the Reddi-wip Barista Sweet Foam Coffee Topper. You’ll also want quality espresso beans. Pull a shot of espresso into a glass and let the crema from the espresso rise to the top. Next, top with the Reddi-wip Sweet Foam Coffee Topper. Make sure to shake the can 4-times and then turn the Reddi-wip Sweet Foam Coffee Topper upside down. This creates more foam. Once you’ve added your desired amount of sweet foam, you now have a Flat White. The foam will come out like whip cream at first and then it will turn into this frothy and thick foam. You now have made the perfect Flat White right in the comfort of your own home for a fraction of what you’d pay at a coffee shop.

What a fun tradition you have with your dad! I too love the flat white and it's often what I order when at a coffee shop. I'm so glad to finally have a recipe I can now make at home.

Love this! I've wondered what you do with those Reddi Wip things besides plain ol' brew. Can't wait to try.

I absolutely love a Starbucks flat white, but always feel guilty about spending so much on a coffee! Now I can make it at home! Thanks for the tips!
