Easy Homemade Waffles

Easy homemade waffles should be a staple in every household in and for good reason. My easy, homemade waffles are made from scratch and can be prepped ahead of time so that you’ll have waffles for recipes all week. Made with clean ingredients that you already have in your panty. My recipe has one secret ingredient that makes these waffles unique and more delicious than most.

Ingredients
  

  • Cocnut spray
  • 2 Organic eggs
  • 2 c Flour sub in whole wheat flour if you prefer.
  • 1 ½ c Heavy cream
  • ½ c Walnut oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 4 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Organic vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Himalayan sea salt
  • 2 c Mixed berries for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the waffle iron according to appliance directions.
  • Beat the eggs in a stand mixer or mixing bowl until fluffy. Next, add in the flour, heavy cream, walnut oil, honey, baking powder, vanilla extract, and the sea-salt and mix on low just until everything is combined. Don’t overmix the batter. The batter should be slightly 
  • Spray the preheated waffle iron with coconut oil spray. Pour the batter onto the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with butter, syrup, and tons of fresh mixed berries.
