DELICIOUS HEALTHY LEFTOVER TURKEY SOUP

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups fresh beef or chicken bone broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream or milk of choice
  • 6 Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into fours
  • 1 diced White onion
  • ¾ cup chopped green onion
  • 4 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 2 cups leftover roast turkey
  • 1 package of egg noodles
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 bunch Fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a 3-5 quart Dutch Oven, add the chicken bone broth, heavy cream, Yukon Gold potatoes, and white onion.
  • Next, add the green onion, chopped garlic, leftover roast turkey, chopped celery, and chopped carrots.
  • Add the cilantro and egg noodles
  • Add paprika, onion powder, and garlic salt
  • Simmer everything on low for 1-hour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Notes

You can make this an even more scrumptious leftover turkey soup recipe by simmering this turkey soup on low for 4-5 hours.  Add in the egg noodles during the last 10-minutes of cooking, and continue to stir until the egg noodles have softened.
This easy, healthy, and delicious leftover turkey soup is a great option because it can be made in under an hour when all you want to do it eat, or it can be left on the stove to simmer on low for a few hours. The longer it simmers, the better it tastes.
