💭 Top tips for creating perfect Gummy Bears
You could also use maple syrup as the sweetener for this recipe, but we are big fans of honey and use it as our main sweetener in most of our recipes.
The trickiest part of this recipe is getting the beef gelatin to mix properly. You want to make sure to bring the juice and the honey to just about a boil and then bring the heat back down to medium and then you add the beef gelatin.
🔪 Instructions
Be sure and add one scoop of beef gelatin at a time and ensure each scoop is fully dissolved before adding the second scoop to your liquid mixture. If the beef gelatin isn’t fully dissolved, the gummy bears will turn out more like frozen juice and less like gummy bears.
Making homemade Halloween gummy bears takes a little bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, you can get creative with the flavors and make all kinds of gummie treats. You could even make gummy worms with the right candy mold.
