All you need are a few ingredients to make this Christmas salad easy to make and healthy to eat!
What you'll need for Festive Christmas Caprese Salad:
- Fresh Mozzarella Log (Pre-sliced is easy and I buy it at Trader Joe's)
- Fresh Basil Leaves (You can also use fresh mint leaves too)
- Beef Steak Tomatoes or Heirloom tomatoes (although hard to find them in stores this time of year)
- Balsamic Glaze
- Celtic Sea Salt

🎄Mozarella Cheese And Tomato Appetizer Candy Cane Salad
Step 1: The first step to building a Candy Cane Caprese Salad is you want to first slice your beef steak tomatoes into even slices and pull apart the basil leaves and put them into a stack. The pre-sliced mozzarella is all ready to go so we don't have to worry about that.
Step 2: Place the tomatoes, basil leaves, and mozzarella onto a cutting board.
Step 3: We make the candy cane appetizer board by placing a tomato slice, next a mozzarella slice, then place a basil leaf, and so on and so on.
Step 4: We repeat this step until we have the shape of a candy cane.
Step 4: Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and Celtic sea salt. Now, you've got a Candy Cane Caprese Salad.
Now you've got the perfect mozzarella cheese basil and tomato appetizer!
