How To Make A Witch Hat This witch recipe is the ultimate witches hat treat!
These crescent witch hats are super easy to make and take a total of 15 minutes total, that's it!
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with a baking liner or parchment paper. Separate the dough into 8 triangles and at the widest part of the dough is where you'll add your chocolate chips.
Step 2: Sprinkle some chocolate chips on the wide end of the crescent triangle.
Step 3: Roll the bottom part over once to form the brim of the witch hat. You can shape your hats whichever way you want. I left a couple of them crooked to resemble real witch hats.
Step 4: Form the rest of the crescent triangles into hat shapes. Repeat for remaining crescent triangles. Bake on a prepared baking sheet, in the oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Now, let's decorate our witch hats! See recipe video below for what I did. I use green and black Wilton frosting to decorate the brim of my hats and added green and brown sprinkles. I also add a dusting of cocoa powder. You can decorate these however you want. The possibilities are endless!
