BAKED EGGNOG FRENCH IS THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST

Easy Baked Eggnog French Toast was created by me in an attempt to combine an eggnog latte and french toast into one recipe.

This french toast bake tastes better with fresh eggnog by your side. This recipe screams Christmas.

FRENCH TOAST + EGGNOG MAKE THE BEST COMBO

I’m known for breakfast on Christmas in my family. I love making different concoctions and french toast is always a staple in our house.

Made with thick slices of brioche bread, eggs, organic eggnog, cinnamon, nutmeg, and delicious maple syrup, this is one breakfast recipe that will be on repeat in your household.

    SUPER SIMPLE CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST RECIPE

Eggnog french toast will be the star of the show along with some fresh coffee and homemade whipped cream.

Fun facts on the history of French Toast, yes it's actually French!

Skip the store-bought and make your own whip cream at home. It’s super easy to make homemade whipped cream and you save yourself the carrageenan and the fillers which your body doesn’t need or like.

HOMEMADE WHIPPED CREAM MAKES THIS FRENCH TOAST RECIPE EVEN BETTER

heavy cream, eggnog, maple syrup. eggs, stack of bread

All you need for homemade whip cream is:

    • Organic Heavy Whipping Cream
    • Vanilla Extract ( make sure you add vanilla extract (hint: I love to add extra!)
    • Honey, coconut sugar, or sugar (I recoommend honey or coconut sugar which does not change the flavor of homemade whipped cream)
    • Nutmeg (nutmge adds a subtle and delicious nutty flavor to homemage whipped cream)

I find honey or coconut sugar makes a lovely and delectable homemade whipped cream.

A friend of mine just mentioned eggnog French toast to me this morning and then I happened to come across this recipe. Apparently, it's a sign I'm meant to make this. I just picked up some eggnog at the store yesterday too so this is going on the menu this weekend. Can't wait!
