🍑 Instructions For Peaches And Cream Ice Cream Recipe
Step 1: Put your ice cream freezer bowl in the freezer for at least 12 hours, but preferably 24 hours before making this recipe. If you are making this chocolate and marshmallow ice cream no churn ice cream, you can skip this first step. Add the loaf pan to the freezer, this will help firm up the ice cream later.
Step 2: Slice the peaches and remove the pits. Leave the skins on.
Step 3: Using a blender or food processor pulse the peaches until they are pea-sized chunks. Alternatively, dice the peaches by hand, and in a large bowl, lightly mash them to release juices. Set aside.
(Note: I did not peal my peaches for this recipe, but you certainly can. Leaving the skins on the peaches really brings out the peach flavor in the ice cream.)
Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, two cups heavy cream, creme fraiche, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Step 5: Add the prepared ice cream custard ice cream base to an ice cream machine. Let the machine mix the ice cream for at least 20 minutes. The longer the better peaks your peaches and cream ice cream will have. After 20 minutes of churning, add the diced peaches to the ice cream machine and continue to churn for another 10 minutes.
Step 6: Next, add the chopped graham crackers and churn for 5 minutes or until the ice cream maker starts to slow down.
Step 7: When the ice cream is done, transfer the peach custard mixture custard base to a metal loaf cake pan. Add some sliced peaches and more graham cracker crumbles on top. Zest 1 lime over the the top of the prepared peach frozen custard. Cover and freeze for 24-hours.
You'll know the ice cream is ready when the ice cream machine starts to slow down. ( see instructions below for how to make this homemade ice cream recipe without using an ice cream machine. )

How do I avoid ice crystals in fruit Pulp based ice creams
- Optional step: If you're adding a fruit to the unfinished ice cream, like strawberries or peaches, the moisture content of the fruit could create ice crystals. It's best to reduce the moisture of the fruit by cooking them down, or roasting. Make sure your freezer is reliable and is not frequently opened and closed as that can.
- Note: I did not cook the peaches first and I did not notice any ice crystals while enjoying my ice cream.
Can I use canned peaches if I don't have fresh peaches?
- You can, but I don't recommend it as canned peaches will make the ice cream runny. Fresh is best!
Do I need eggs for this recipe?
- No egg yolks are required for this recipe as temping eggs is a process and girl we don't have time for that in summer. The sweetened condensed milk acts as egg yolks but without the hassle and possibly harmful bacteria. No need for egg mixture in this ice cream.
