Whipped Turmeric lattes are similar to whipped coffee, but offer up even more benefits. We could all use some extra sunshine right now and this drink fits every single bill. This anti-inflammatory drink gives an all-natural energy boost without any added caffeine. It’s also summer in a glass, so make it, enjoy, and drink up!
SUMMER IS COMING
It’s nearly summer and I’m all about summer living is fine lifestyle right now. Sunshine and happy drinks make me happy these days. My Whipped Turmeric Latte is basically funshine in a glass and I guarantee you it will make your day. It’s also super fun to make so that’s an added bonus.
WHIPPED DRINKS ARE HERE TO STAY
This turmeric latte or golden milk drink is similar to the whipped coffee craze you’ve been seeing all over the internet, but it’s even better. This latte is loaded with turmeric powder which when combined with black pepper works as an anti-inflammatory responder and helps to rid the body of toxins.
The other benefit to drinking turmeric daily is it’s a powerful antioxidant. Turmeric also works wonders to help naturally balance hormones and lower depression and anxiety levels.
REFINED SUGAR-FREE AND SUPER DELICIOUS
Made with coconut sugar, milk of choice (you could totally go dairy-free if that’s your jam), turmeric powder, black pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg this whipped turmeric latte will be your drink of choice throughout the week.
This golden goodness is also super easy to make. Before you know it, you’ll be whipping your way to the sunny deliciousness that is a whipped turmeric latte.
MOTIVATION IS BACK AND I’M FEELING FINE
Lately, I’ve been working really hard to get my motivation back up and running. It hasn’t been easy, but each week is getting better and better. I’ve started a new crossfit program, I’m celery juicing daily (new YouTube video coming soon on all that) I’ve also cleaned up my diet and I’m back to drinking my daily Bulletproof coffee. Things are looking up friends!
You know the saying, it always seems impossible until it’s done? I’m in that mind-frame these days. I have a huge project regarding this blog that I need to pull the trigger and do, but I’m also scared. What if I can’t do it? I have no idea what I’m doing, but I at least need to try. Doing this giant project will only help this blog grow even more. The goal is to get as many eyes on this amazing corner of the internet so why am I stopping myself?
IF SOMEONE ELSE DID IT, SO CAN YOU
It’s amazing the lies we tell ourselves isn’t’ it? If someone else can do it, so can you. This is something I have to remind myself of daily. I also have one of my quotes hanging up in my office that says: “If we did the things we are capable we of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.” That quote is by Thomas Edison and it’s so true.
It’s a quote I live my life by. It’s time to take the plunge and go all in. Besides, we will never know the result unless we go all in right?
GO ALL IN
So go all-in this summer with my delicious Whipped Turmeric Latte, use the law of attraction to conquer your goals, and be ever positive in the pursuit of what you want.
Stay healthy my friends!
Whipped Turmeric Latte
Ingredients:
- 2-teaspoons coconut sugar
- 2-teaspoons hot water
- 2-teaspoons turmeric powder
- 2-egg yolks
- 1-teaspoon black pepper
- 1-teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-teaspoon cardamom
- 1-teaspoon nutmeg
- 2-cups milk (any milk choice is fine, including a dairy-free version.)
- Ice
Instructions:
- In a stand mixer or using electric egg beaters, mix the coconut sugar, hot water, turmeric powder, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg together until the mixture starts to thicken. Do this for 3-5 minutes.
- In a glass bowl over boiling water, temper the egg yolks. Stir the egg yolks the entire time so that they don't cook. Tempering the egg yolks kills the bacteria.
- Once the egg yolks have tempered, add them to the stand mixer and mix the egg yolks, and the turmeric coconut sugar mixture on high until the mixture starts to thicken and turn into a whipped like texture. This will take a few minutes.
- After a few minutes of mixing, you will see air start to form and this will create the whipped turmeric.
- Fill a glass with ice and milk of choice
- Top the milk with the whipped turmeric, add a dash of nutmeg, and enjoy!
