Top Tip for Pizza Gnocchi Bake
- Broil the pepperoni pizza gnocchi skillet at the very end of cooking to get that delicious crispy, melted, pizza cheesy texture. Broiling for a few minutes at the very end of cooking is a must step and ensures the best skillet texture.
- Sear the gnocchi in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side. Let them sear first before adding the marinara sauce. This ensures the gnocchi won't be soggy. They will be crispy and delicious instead!

Yes! This recipe is designed for traditional store-bought gnocchi—it gets tender when simmered in the sauce and crisps up perfectly in the skillet before finishing in the oven.
Baking at 350°F for 5 minutes brings out the gnocchi casserole texture—bubbly and cohesive. Broiling for another 5 minutes adds golden, melty edges to the mozzarella, giving it that baked pizza finish with extra cheese pull. It's a must!
Straight from the skillet as a pizza bowl moment! Spoon it into shallow bowls or plates while it’s hot so the cheese pull stays epic and every bite is coated in rich pizza-seasoned marinara sauce.
