☕ How to Make a Starbucks Eggnog Latte
- Step 1: Brew your espresso or strong coffee.
- Step 2: Add the cold eggnog, honey, vanilla extract, and clove powder to a small saucepan, and stir until combined.
- Step 3: Steam the eggnog using a milk streamer or by steaming the eggnog on the stovetop. If steaming the eggnog on the stovetop, do not let the eggnog curdle or boil. Simmer on low heat until the eggnog is heated through.
- Step 4: Pour the prepared eggnog into a coffee mug and pour the prepared espresso shot on top.
- Step 5: Top with whipped cream and eggnog.
- Step 6: Drink and enjoy!
The sad answer is no. They stopped offering them because the sugar in the eggnog clogs the milk steamer wands. Ergo, no more Eggnog lattes being offered at Starbucks.
Nope! This is why it's a great, safe way to enjoy eggnog and the bonus part is it wakes you up with the espresso.
This recipe is made using a Nespresso machine. It's super easy, just brew the espresso pod, steam your eggnog with additional ingredients, and walla, you have an eggnog latte made at home.
Brew the espresso and set aside to cool. Instead of heating up the milk, leave it cold and stir in the vanilla extract, nutmeg, and clove powder. Pour the prepared eggnog into a glass filled with ice and pour the espresso shot on top. Add a dollop of whipped cream and more nutmeg and enjoy!

Get into the holiday spirit and make these classic holiday drinks! Hot coffee will do in a pinch if you don't have espresso. Add this easy eggnog latte recipe to your Starbucks copycat recipes tab. You can also use simple syrup as a sweetener if honey isn't your jam.
Top Tip for Creamy Eggnog Easy Recipe
If you heating up the eggnog in a saucepan, do not boil or curdle the eggnog. This will ruin it and it will burn the milk. Simmer on low heat and let the eggnog heat up slowly. It only takes about three minutes to warm up eggnog. Not long at all!
This festive drink is perfect to enjoy on Christmas morning and makes a great morning coffee!
