Stove Top Stuffing Casserole Ingredients
- Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix

🍞 How To Make Stovetop Cornbread Stuffing Recipe
Prep Step: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 7x11-inch baking dish with coconut oil spray.

- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add one egg, milk, and the Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix and stir well until combined.

- Step 2: Bake the Jiffy Cornbread in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown. Once baked, remove from oven, set aside. Let cool for a few minutes.

- Step 3: In a large skillet, add the butter, chopped yellow onion and chopped celery and cook over medium heat until veggies are softened.

- Step 4: Add the fresh cranberries and sauté over medium heat until the cranberries start to pop.

- Step 5: In a large mixing bowl, add the prepped veggies and cranberries, bone broth, egg, fresh sage, thyme, garlic salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, and mix well until combined.

- Step 6: Next, add the prepapred cornbread to the stuffing mixture and mix well until combined.
Step 7: In a 9x13 greased baking dish, add the prepared cornbread stuffing and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until the cornbread stuffing turns golden brown.

Step 8: Remove from oven and let cool. Slice and top with fresh gravy (if desired) and enjoy!

Top Tip For Easy Cornbread Stuffing
- You can add sausage, fresh parsley, mushrooms, or really anything you want to this stuffing to make it your own. You can also add sourdough bread if you like.

Storage For Cornbread Stove Top Stuffing
Stove Top Stuffing with Cornbread freezes well. Simply place leftovers in Ziplock freezer bags, and it will last for up to six months. Simply reheat by placing back in a greased casserole dish in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. If not freezing, place in a glass, airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.

Cornbread
- 1 large egg
- ⅓ cup milk
- 1 package Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
Stuffing Mixture
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup chopped celery
- ¼ cup fresh cranberries
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups chicken bone broth or chicken stock
- ½ bunch fresh sage and thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
