    1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees and place parchment paper on cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray.
If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles.
    1. Step 2: Unroll the crescent roll dough; separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles.
With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough. Slice cheese slices into quarters (½ slice cheese, cut in half).
    1. Step 3: Using kitchen scissors or a pizza cutter, slice each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, thin strips, making a total of 40 pieces of dough. Slice cheddar cheese slices into quarters (½ slice cheese, cut in half).
Place parchment paper on cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray.
    1. Step 4: Wrap 4 pieces of dough around each hot dog and ¼ slice of cheese to look like "bandages," stretching dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. About ½ inch from one end of each hot dog, separate "bandages" so hot dog shows through for "face." Place prepared hot dogs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    1. Step 5: Bake for 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot.
Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw features on "face."
    1. Step 6: Remove your crescent roll mummy hot dogs from the oven and add candy eyeballs for a spooky treat!

Top Tip For Spooky Hot Dogs

Place your cheese slice at the bottom of the hot dog before wrapping the hot dog in the buttery crescent roll dough. This will ensure the cheese slice is at the bottom of your mummy dog and not the top. This way your Halloween party guests will be able to see the mummy's face!
