🎃 How To Make Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream
Prep Step
Prep Steps: Make sure your ice cream maker base has been in the freezer for 24 hours prior to making this recipe. Place the prepared ice cream maker attachment onto stand mixer fitted with the dasher.
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the heavy cream and condensed milk and mix well until combined.
- Step 2: Next, add the pumpkin puree and mix well until combined.
- Step 3: Add the molasses, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, nutmeg, sea salt, and espresso powder and mix again. Be careful not to overmix.
- Step 4: Mix well, but be careful not to overmix your pumpkin ice cream mixture.
- Step 5: Add the prepared ice cream base to your ice maker.
- Step 6: Let the ice cream churn for at least 30 minutes until stiff peaks form.
Step 7: Transfer prepared pumpkin spice ice cream to a cake loaf pan and seal with a top or tinfoil, and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight. Remove from freezer, and serve.
🎃 Top Tip For Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream
Add extra nutmeg and pumpkin spice on top of the prepared pumpkin ice cream before you place it in the freezer. It will be extra spicy and delicious! You can also add ground ginger for an extra extra spicy kicky!
It's super easy! You do the exact directions, mix everything in a mixing bowl and combine. Then simply add the prepared pumpkin ice cream mixture to a pre-frozen cake loaf pan, seal with tinfoil, and pop in the freezer overnight. It will freeze the same way it goes in the ice cream maker.
No. The only way dogs could have pumpkin spice ice cream is if you used Ceylon Cinnamon (the only dog-friendly cinnamon on the market) and did not use the other spices like nutmeg or pumpkin spice.
