- Home Depot Bucket (or any large Utility Bucket)
- Power Drill
- Large Metal Drill Bit
- Garden Hose or Extension Cord (whatever you’re trying to hide 😉)
- Permanent Marker (Optional, for marking drill placement)
- Decorative Bucket Cover or Paint (you can paint your bucket whatever color you want!)
Pro Tip: I used a standard Home Depot bucket (Very Affordable!) for this outdoor hose storage hack. Any large utility bucket will work for storing garden hoses or extension cords.

How To Make DIY Outdoor Hose Storage
Step 1
Step 1: Mark Your Bucket
Use a permanent marker to mark where you want the hole to go on the side of your Home Depot bucket. Make sure the hole is large enough for your garden hose or extension cord to fit through comfortably.

Step 2: Drill the Hole
Using a power drill and a large metal drill bit, carefully drill a hole into the side of the bucket. Remove any loose plastic pieces around the opening before adding your hose or cord
