Substitutions For Yellow Cherry Tomato Recipes
This is the most delicious sauce, but you can add other things if you want to. I suggest red pepper flakes to give this tomato sauce a spicy kick, or heavy cream to make this a creamy tomato sauce. You could also add in Roma tomatoes to make this a red-yellow spaghetti sauce. This makes the most delicious tomato sauce
Top Tip
If yellow tomato sauce isn't thickening you can add more sugar for a thicker sauce. We only use fresh tomatoes for this recipe, no canned tomatoes here. Have sungold tomatoes or orange tomatoes on hand? Throw those in here too! This is a simple sauce, a fresh sauce that light, easy, and breezy! Store leftover tomato sauce in freezer-safe containers and freeze for up to 6 months or enjoy right away! This tomato sauce will also keep in the fridge for up to three days.
Make this!
Want to make this for pasta? Easy! Add penne pasta to boiling water and cook until Al dente. Save some pasta water. Drain the pasta, add the reserved pasta water to the pan, add the penne pasta, and combine. Grab a pasta bowl, top with the yellow tomato sauce, and combine. Top with grated parmesan cheese, more fresh basil, and Kalamata olives for the perfect Italian pasta dish!
