Why you'll love this Recipe
- This recipe has juicy chicken
- The whole family will love it!
- This recipe only uses one pot and only five ingredients
🍋 Ingredients For Creamy Chicken Pasta
🍋 Ingredients for lemon parmesan pasta with chicken
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Grassfed Butter: Use a high quality EVOO that's preferably organic. They spray olive trees heavily with pesticide. Grassfed butter is always the way to go.
- Chicken Tenders or Chicken Breasts: (Opt for organic chicken or air-chilled chicken whenever you can)
- Fresh Lemons: (fresh lemon juice and lemon slices) Use Meyer lemons for this recipe if you can find them, they are a sweeter lemon in the lemon family
- Heavy Cream: Heavy cream makes this the most rich pasta recipe, but you can also opt for half-n-half or a dairy free milk of choice. Coconut milk makes a great dairy-free option
- Chicken bone broth: You can also use chicken stock (these are the base of this recipe and what we use to cook the pasta. There is no water in this recipe.
- Linguini: Pastas are heavily sprayed so use an organic pasta whenever you can. Fettuccine is also a great option or even Penne
- Yellow Onion: You can also do white onion or red onion, but yellow onion gives is that subtle sweetness
- Spices: Paprika, Himalayan Sea-salt, black pepper, onion salt, garlic salt, and seasoning salt
- Fresh herbs: I love adding fresh thyme and tarragon

Top Tip: Why Grass-fed Butter?
The golden yellow color, the richness, and the fact that the cows are living outside, eating pasture raised grass the way nature intended. Try conventional butter next to grassfed butter and you will immediately taste (and see) the difference!)

Ellen
Looks like a great recipe! Do you cook the pasta before adding it to the Dutch Oven? Thank you.
Genevieve
Hi Ellen! You can cook the pasta before adding it to the Dutch Oven or you can cook the pasta in the Dutch oven in the bone broth and continually stir it so it doesn't stick to the pan. I hope that helps! 🙂
