Milk Options For Toasted Marshmallow Coffee
You can use any milk you want for this recipe. To make my version extra, extra creamy, I use heavy cream, but if you are dairy-free you could also use oat milk or almond milk.
This coffee is similar to the iced S'mores coffee Starbucks recipe, just my version uses hot coffee instead. Ice works just as well too!
I love Starbucks, but why not make it homemade if you can? For the S'mores coffee syrup recipe, I ordered Toasted Marshmallow syrup from Monin. It's delicious in coffee alone, but even better in this toasted S'mores coffee.
Marshmallow coffee is also yummy too, and you can easily make that from this recipe. Think of this as a coffee S'mores pie. Simply divine.
Turn this into toasted marshmallow iced coffee by adding ice and using cold brew coffee instead.
Where Do S'mores Come From?
Did you know that Loretta Scott Crew supposedly invented the s'more? However, the first published recipe for “some mores" was in a 1927 publication called Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts.
Loretta Scott Crew, who made them for Girl Scouts by the campfire, is given credit for the recipe.
